Hezbollah launches artillery attack on Israeli military team

Hezbollah carries out a new attack on an Israeli military site in north of the occupied Palestine.

Hezbollah has carried out a fresh attack on an Israeli military site amid a continued push by the Lebanese resistance movement to force the regime to end its aggression on Palestinians in Gaza.

Hezbollah said in a Monday statement carried by the Al Manar TV channel that it had targeted a group of Israeli military officers in a site located in the north of occupied Palestine.

“Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 04:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2024, a technical team of the Israeli enemy while they were conducting maintenance on technical and espionage equipment at the Al-Baghdadi site with artillery shells, causing confirmed injuries,” said the statement.

Hezbollah has been trading fire with Israel on an almost daily basis since the regime began its one-side war on Gaza in early October.

However, Hezbollah has avoided a direct conformation with Israel although senior officials of the group have warned that it will respond decisively if Israel chooses to attack Lebanon.

Diplomatic efforts by Israel’s Western allies, including the United States, to persuade Hezbollah to halt its attacks on Israel have failed so far as the group insists the attacks will continue until Israel’s aggression on Gaza stops completely.

Israel has kept silent about the number of casualties it has suffered in Hezbollah attacks in recent months. That comes as official statements from the Lebanese government and Hezbollah show more than 300 people, including Hezbollah fighters, have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

Israel’s aggression on Gaza has claimed the lives of more than 32,000 people so far, with a significant part of the fatalities being women and children living in temporary shelters in the besieged enclave.
