Moulana Syed Taqui Abedi appointed as member Haj Committee
Following years of dedicated religious endeavor of creating awareness about Manasik-e-Haj (the sacred rites to be performed during the Haj) among the pilgrims, Moulana Syed Taqui Raziuddin also known as Moulana Taqui Raza Abedi president Tanzeem e jafferi has been appointed as a member of reconstituted Telangana State Haj Committee on Tuesday.
The Telangana government on Monday released an abstract reconstituting the State Haj Committee specifying the names of eleven members that include MP Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi, MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj, Mahmad Sharfuddin, Khaja Sana, Mohammed Mujeebuddin, Ilyas Ahmad Hamid Qasmi, Syed Ehsanuddin, Faimeeda Begum, Mohammed Layeeq and Mohammed Yousuf beside Moulana Syed Taqui Raziuddin.
Hailing from Darabjang Lane in Yakutpura area, Moulana Syed Taqui Raziuddin was known for volunteering Haj awareness camps ahead of Haj season. He was found organizing multiple camps bringing awareness among the Haj pilgrims about the appropriate way of performing holy Haj at Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Following his appointment as Member of Telangana State Haj Committee, wishes started pouring in from the nook and corner of the city and the state extending warm greetings to Moulana Syed Taqui Raziuddin.
Noted figures, politicians, intellectuals and journalists from different parts of the city and surrounding districts felt rejoice learning about the appointment of Moulana Syed Taqui Raziuddin as the member of State Haj Committee.
The renowned Journalist Syed Jaffer Hussain, who is also the Editor of Urdu daily vernacular Sada-e-Hussaini said, “The appointment of Moulana Syed Taqui Raza Abedi came as blessings in disguise for all those who are aware of Moulana Taqui Abedi’s decades long services he extended for the Haj pilgrims who were considered as the special guests of Almighty Allah SWT in Mecca.”
