Ali Akbar Velayati, who is also the secretary general of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, made the remarks in a phone conversation with Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem on Tuesday night.
Wishing success for the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in dealing with enemies, Velayati slammed the US officials’ remarks who said that if Israel didn’t exist, they would have to invent it.
“We are sure that the people of Palestine and Gaza will win this critical and breathtaking battle,” he stressed.
Sheikh Naim Qassem, for his part, hailed the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran over supporting the Resistance front, saying that Resistance forces will continue to fight the enemies until crushing them.
