Gaza’s health ministry said there were dozens of Palestinians killed and wounded in Israeli air strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp on Monday (October 9).
Fires and damaged buildings could be seen in the Jabalia refugee camp, located in the North of the Gaza Strip, following an Israel airstrike in the area.
Damage was seen in various areas across the strip, as residents woke up to another day of the war, some looking for their belongings among the rubble of their homes and stores.
Fighting between Israeli forces and Islamist group Hamas was ongoing at seven or eight locations near Gaza two days after Hamas gunmen killed 700 Israelis and abducted dozens more in the deadliest raid into Israeli territory since Egypt and Syria’s attacks in the Yom Kippur war 50 years ago.
