Karimnagar: A tenant farmer, Borala Rajender (30), who made a suicide attempt by consuming pesticide on Friday, died while undergoing treatment in hospital on Saturday.
A native of Papakkapalli of Jammikunta mandal, Rajender had cultivated cotton in five acres of land, of which four acres were taken on rent. However, he entered into debts due to lack of adequate yield during the last few seasons. Upset over the debts, he made the suicide attempt by consuming pesticide on Friday. Family members shifted him to hospital, where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment on Saturday.
