Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hasan Nasrallah delivered a televised speech at the International Al-Quds Day ceremony in Beirut on Friday.
At the start of his speech, he lauded martyrs who fell all the way to Al-Quds on all fronts across Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran and Iraq.
Nasrallah offered condolences over the martyrdom of top IRGC generals who were martyred earlier this week in the Israeli aggression on Iranian consulate in Syria’s Damascus.
“Top IRGC general Mohammad Reza Zahedi had favor upon Hezbollah as he contributed to the development of resistance in Lebanon,” Hezbollah secretary general said.
“Imam Khomenini’s stance towards Al-Quds was clear and firm,” he added about late Iranian founder of the Islamic Revolution who named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan each year the Quds Day.
