PM announces Turmeric Board, Tribal University for Telangana

Mahabubnagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday announced that the National Turmeric Board and a Tribal University will be set up in Telangana.
He made the announcements after laying foundation stone and dedicating to the nation multiple developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore in Telangana at an official event held here. National Turmeric Board will help farmers in the entire supply chain from value addition to infrastructure,” he said. He noted that after Covid-19 pandemic awareness about turmeric has increased and turmeric demand has also gone up across the world. Modi’s announcement comes amid the criticism of BJP by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for going back on its promise.

During 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate in Nizamabad constituency D. Arvind had promised to get the Turmeric Board within 5 days of winning the election. Arvind, who had defeated BRS leader K. Kavitha in Nizamabad, had made the promise in writing and even signed it with a non-judicial (bond) stamp.
The BRS has stepped up attack on BJP after the Centre categorically told the Parliament in March this year that there is no proposal to establish a Turmeric Board or any other spice-specific Board in the

In another major announcement, the Prime Minister said a tribal university will be set up in Mulugu. The tribal university will be named after tribal deities Sammakka and Sarakka. He announced that Rs 900 crore will be spent on SammakkaSarakka Central Tribal University. The tribal university was one of the commitments made to Telangana in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.

BRS had been targeting BJP for not fulfilling the commitment. Modi, who laid the foundation stone for a couple of road projects as part of Nagpur-Vijayawada economic corridor, said this corridor will promote trade, tourism and industry in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra. He said as part of the economic corridor, economic hubs have been identified. These includea special economic zone, five mega food parks, four fishing seafood clusters, three pharma and medical clusters and one textile park.

Modi said as a result of this youth in Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad and Khammam districts will get huge employment opportunities and help farmers in value addition. The Prime Minister said a landlocked state like Telangana needs road and rail connectivity so that goods manufactured in the state are shipped to sea ports for exports.

He noted that several corridors are passing through Telangana. These corridors will connect east and west coasts. He said the Khammam-Suryapet section of Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam corridor will also play a key role in accessing the east coast and bringing down the logistic cost of industry and business.

Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar said the civic body has launched an extensive drive to check the increasing number of dengue cases in the city.

We must stand against Zionist enemy : Hezbollah official

Speaking at the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference (IIUC) on Sunday, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem noted that one of the most important solutions to strengthen Islamic cooperation is Islamic unity.

He said “We should make efforts towards practical unity and consider this Islamic value as one of the most important values,” emphasizing that ” we should try to achieve a unifying spirit in our own society and promote real human values through the great Islamic countries and the United Nations”.

Hezbollah official stated that the unity must have a minimum and a maximum, adding that “At the very least, our countries and organizations should not side with the enemy bloc and on the other hand, try to cooperate in different fields”.

He went on to say that Imam Khomeini (RA) always emphasized spreading unity among all members of the Islamic society.

Qassem noted that Islamic nations must stand against the Zionist enemy, emphasizing that “We must consider the Palestinian issue as the main issue,” announcing that the occupation of Palestine means the occupation of all Islamic lands.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed out that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized the issue of Palestinian rights will never be achieved through international organizations, but only through resistance of the people.

He continued “We should be able to make more efforts in the field of military consolidation and resistance by strengthening our own facilities and standing against our enemies.”

Regarding Iran’s experience in defending the oppressed in the world, Islamic nations should see that as a role model and be able to unite based on these high values and avoid enmity, he said.

He pointed out that the results and achievements resulting from the progress of the Islamic nations have caused the Resistance to take a logical form, and the Axis of Resistance can have good achievements for the Islamic nation.

In the end, he emphasized avoiding any differences, adding that Iran’s cooperation with Islamic countries can help the realization of Islamic values.

Aishwarya "Walks Her Worth" In Paris With Black Jacket And Pointy Boots

At Paris Fashion Week, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 'Walks Her Worth' For L'Oreal In A Full-Length Jacket And Pointy Boots

Aishwarya “Walks Her Worth” For L’Oreal Paris In Black Jacket And Pointy Boots

With the Spring/Summer fashion show lineups, we’ve seen top names from Bollywood, like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Manushi Chillar and more in Miami, Milan and London. But one name that had not popped up on the fashion show radar this year as yet was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Looks like the Fashion Gods were waiting for just the right moment, and the Paris Fashion Week was it. Bang in the middle of ongoing fashion week in the City of Lights, L’Oréal Paris returned with the 6th edition of its annual Fashion Show at none other than “the majestic setting of the Eiffel Tower forecourt” where the beauty brand’s ambassadors walked in fabulous outfits designed by leading Maisons. Representing the brand, Aishwarya exuded some glamorous boss lady vibes in a full-length jacket that bore sequinned, star-shaped embellishments and silver buttons. She wore the long-sleeved jacket over a black v-necked tulle dress and paired it with black, heeled, pointy-toed boots. She left her hair open with a middle parting and for makeup, she chose a light smokey-eyes look with a rose-hued lipstick.

At this open-air show, open to all, called “Walk Your Worth,” beauty, strength and self-esteem were what L’Oréal Paris chose to spotlight, this year. The beauty brand’s Défilé 2023 attempted to convey a message of emancipation for women, in the vein of “Stand Up”, its international program to raise awareness of street harassment. In a recent interview, Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, International General Manager of L’Oréal Paris explained the reason for the theme, “As a feminine and feminist brand, we are convinced that self-esteem is the result of working on oneself, and that beauty is the catalyst for this journey.”

A spokesperson for the brand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan flew from Mumbai along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan to attend the show. Aishwarya and Aaradhya were papped outside the Mumbai airport as they made their way inside. The mother-daughter duo kept their airport looks stylish and comfy. Aishwarya stayed loyal to her signature all-black fit. Her bright red lip shade was the perfect pop of colour added to her otherwise monochrome look. On the other hand, Aardhya kept it simple with a blue cardigan with black pants. After all, she has a stylish mum to take inspiration from.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stood out in a sheer, white gown at the L’oreal Show at Paris Fashion Week 2021. We are no strangers to her expertise in bringing out her natural charm even in solid-hued outfits. In the fairy-like dramatic ensemble, she indeed was a sight for the sore eyes. A ruffled drape was wrapped around her waist. Did she plan to add a desi saree twist to the modern costume? We are still guessing. Stone studs were the only accessory for her OOTD. Pink-tainted lips and fluttery eyelashes with winged eyeliner set the tone right for Aishwarya’s ethereal and dreamy avatar. Safe to say, Aishwarya embodied a real Snow White.

Aishwarya channelled her inner Barbie way before the Barbiecore trend became popular. She walked for designer Giambattista Valli in a floral-printed, high-neck smock dress which reminded us of a garden. Rightly so, because Aishwarya bloomed like a flower in the outfit. Those frills, puffy Juliet sleeves, and a flowy train boasted elegance with a girlish touch. The diva had her hair in a top, messy bun. It was one of her controversial looks, with even the late Wendell Rodericks commenting on it. But her dramatic makeover has all our hearts. And why not? It had the perfect amount of shimmery pink eyeshadow, a deadly kohl and eyeliner combo, matched with peach-pink lips.

We are always floored by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s fashion choices, especially at fashion shows.

Al-Aqsa Mosque, inmates Palestine's red lines: Hamas spox

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasim clarified in a press statement that the movement’s redlines in not just a “motto” but they are a fact that was proven both in the Battle of Saif al-Quds (Sword of Quds) and in other battles.

Qasim stated that the current hard-line cabinet of the Zionist regime has launched a religious war against the Islamic and Christian sanctuaries of Al-Quds and is seeking to implement the plan to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque by any means.

Pointing out that the Zionist enemy has escalated the war and put pressure on the Quds residents with the aim of forcing them out, he emphasized that all the actions of the Zionist cabinet in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings are carried out with the aim of implementing the Jewishization plan in holy Quds.

The Hamas spokesman further stated that the last crime committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian nation was the attack on Palestinian prisoners in Ramon prison on Sunday morning.

He pointed out that the extremist Zionist cabinet, led by a number of extremists, is trying to put pressure on the prisoners with the aim of breaking their resolve, because the prisoners and Al-Aqsa Mosque are among the Palestinians’ symbols and red lines.

Qasim stated that the crimes committed by the extremist Zionist regime’s cabinet will face a strengthened Palestinian people’s resistance.

In continuation of the desecration of the Zionist settlers to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past few days under the pretext of Jewish holidays, the Zionists once again carried out provocative actions in that holy site by entering it illegally on Sunday morning.

Qatar urges Israel to be subjected to IAEA safeguards

Qatar says Israel’s nuclear facilities must be subjected to the IAEA safeguards.

Doha says it views Israel’s compliance with the IAEA safeguards and joining the NPT as essential to a nuclear-weapon-free zone in West Asia.

While Israel remains an implacable opponent to Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program and rejects international oversight of its clandestine nuclear projects, the regime is speculated to possess 200 to 400 nuclear weapons.
