In honor of the martyrs who fell on the road to Al-Quds in defense of Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the holy sites, Hezbollah’s media relations published a statement calling on the party’s supporters to attend the memorial ceremony. The ceremony is being held in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), the city of Nabatieh, Deir Qanun Al-Nahr, and Baalbek.

This event comes after several martyrs fell in the battles taking place with the Zionist enemy on the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.

On October 25, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance chief ordered to call fallen fighters at Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine “Martyrs All the Way to Al-Quds” in a letter written by himself.

The Israeli regime has been waging a barbaric war against Gaza since October 7, when Hamas-led Palestinian Resistance groups launched their biggest operation against the Zionist regime in years. The sneak attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, came in response to the regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli war has so far claimed the lives of over 9,000 innocent Palestinians and left upwards of 32,000 others wounded.

The United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution, calling for the implementation of an immediate “humanitarian truce” in Gaza. The Israeli regime has rejected all calls for a ceasefire, claiming it would benefit Hamas.

The adult star responded to former cricketer Laxmi Ratan Shukla’s post on X (formerly twitter) which is a video of Mohammed Shami’s incredible bowling against England. In her comment she posted an emoji denoting “bowing down” to his performance.

This is not the first time Kendra Lust has shown her admiration towards the Indian pacer. Earlier, in a post on her official X account, she had greeted Shami and called his spell “wonderful”. Her appreciation came after the pacer breathed fire with the new ball in a match against Lucknow Super Giants in the 2022 edition of IPL.

Meanwhile, Shami became the leading wicket taker for India in World Cup cricket with 45 scalps so far. In doing so he has surpassed Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath.

Nirmal: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) candidate for Mudhole segment G Vittal Reddy said that only BRS could develop Telangana. He was addressing a poll rally held in Bhainsa on Friday.

Recalling that Chandrashekhar Rao had addressed several challenges of the segment, Reddy sought a minority residential school for girls in Bhainsa, a relief and rehabilitation package worth Rs 90 crore to residents of Gundegaon village, funds for the restoration of a 140-year-old irrigation project breached by heavy rains at Sirala project and creation of lining to Gaddennavagu project and for resuming works of 28D package of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation scheme.

He wanted Rs 100 crore to develop the ancient Sri Saraswathi Devi temple in Basar 2,000 units of Griha Laxmi and 500 units of Dalit Bandhu, 500 units of Giri Vikas, establishment of an ITI in Bhainsa, sanctioning of permanent buildings for BC and minority residential schools. He requested Rao to convert Palsi into mandal centre and issue caste certificates to settlers of Maharashtra.

Reddy said that the residents from bordering villages in Maharashtra were surprised to find the social security pension amount and other welfare schemes. He enthralled the participants of the rally by reading out two Urdu poems hailing Chandrashekhar Rao. He predicted that Rao would become Chief Minister of Telangana for the third time in a row.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who addressed the rally, assured to grant funds for the works and to address other problems if the BRS was voted to power.

Forest minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Rajya Sabha member Damodar Rao, MLC Dande Vittal, former MP S Venugopala Chary, former MLC Puranam Sathish, ex-MP G Nagesh, MLC Madhusudana Chary, BRS leaders P Rama Devi, Vilas Gadewar and many others were present.

Hyderabad: One of the interesting features in this ongoing World Cup is that after every Indian win – seven on the trot – BCCI posts a video of the best fielder ceremony that is held in the dressing room. The man behind this innovative show is Hyderabad‘s TK Diliep, the fielding coach. The video has gone viral and there is tremendous interest among the team members to know the winner of the best fielder medal.

The fielders celebrate when taking a good catch and enact the medal ceremony act on the field. At Pune, Ravindra Jadeja, after taking a brilliant catch point, pointed towards Diliep of him getting the award or for instance in Thursday’s match at Wankhede Stadium, Shubman Gill gesture of putting the medal around Jadeja’s neck after his catch at point. The team members are celebrating each other’s success.

In the last match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, it was the legendary Sachin Tendulkar who announced the best fielder award to Shreyas Iyer in a video message and Diliep has been doing it in a very innovative way ever since he introduced it from the first match in this World Cup. Tendulkar even praised Diliep and even remembered India’s campaign in 2003 which was written on the chart in the dressing room of the team members achievement.

There is a buzz around till the announcement is made. This new idea was to bring competitiveness among the players and motivate them to elevate their fielding standards. This was done by the team management after a poor performance on the field during the recent series against Australia. The medal serves as a symbol of excellence and has become a coveted prize among Indian cricketers.

For Diliep, who succeeded his fellow City coach Ramakrishna Sridhar, this World Cup is one of the biggest challenges. Having won the confidence of Rahul Dravid, Diliep has become a vital cog in the Indian team along with Vikram Rathour (batting coach) and Paras Mhambrey (bowling coach).

Starting his journey as fielding coach for the Indian A team in 2019, the 42-year-old Diliep has grown in stature. He said in a talk then that he always felt excited to get an opportunity to work with the elite players. Following in Sridhar’s footsteps, Diliep has always looked up to his predecessor. “He helped me with new ideas on fielding drills.’’

A bowling all-rounder, Diliep played in the A-Division for Cheerful, New Blues and Deccan Chargers but he had a passion for coaching from a young age. “I wrote my level 1 examination in 2004, it was more about me getting an idea of the mechanism of the game and after I cleared that examination, I became more interested in coaching. I thought I needed to develop my knowledge of the game,’’ he said then in 2019.

Diliep was the coach from the Hyderabad Under-14 state team and also coached the Hyderabad Ranji side. “I have to thank the Hyderabad Cricket Association for giving me an opportunity to work with the various teams. It helped me to learn about coaching. It also gave me an opportunity to work with our senior coaches who have helped me a lot. However, the turning point was when I worked as fielding coach for Deccan Chargers (now defunct) for three years under Trevor Penny and Mike Young in the IPL. It actually gave me good exposure.’’

Vijay Mohan Raj, former Hyderabad opener and presently the Director of Hyderabad Cricket Academy, said Diliep has always been a keen observer of the game. “He is energetic and enthusiastic. He has the work ethics to excel.”

2 Dead, 7 Missing After Boat Capsizes In Bihar's Saryu River

This was the second major incident of boat capsize in the state in the recent past.

Saran, Bihar:

Two persons died and seven others were missing after a boat carrying them capsized in the Saryu River in Bihar’s Saran district on Wednesday, officials said.

Nine people managed to swim to the bank, while the bodies of two women were fished out, they said.

Officials said they fear that the seven missing persons may also have drowned. However, rescue efforts will continue throughout the night.

Saran District Magistrate Aman Samir told PTI, “The incident took place around 6.30 pm when a boat carrying 18 people drowned in Saryu River near Matiyar Ghat in Manjhi block.” “A rescue operation has been launched and we are trying to identify the deceased,” he said, adding further probe is underway to ascertain the cause of the incident.

This was the second major incident of boat capsize in the state in the recent past.

On September 14, more than 15 children were feared drowned after a boat carrying them capsized in the Bagmati River in Muzaffarpur district. The incident took place when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was in the district to review the progress of several ongoing projects.

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in an event organised by the Uttar Pradesh government and the Embassy of Japan on Friday.

The event held important discussions about the emerging opportunities between the government of Uttar Pradesh and the Japan Embassy.

Ambassador of Japan Hiroshi Suzuki and Political Counsellor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Kentaro Orita, among others, were present at the event.

Earlier today, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, approved the decision to offer family travel passes to contractual employees of the Transport Corporation as part of efforts to enhance the state’s roadway system.

The state government’s decision brought joy to the employees. This decision was made during the meeting of the Board of Directors, chaired by the Principal Secretary of the Transport Corporation, on October 18 and subsequently, a letter was issued, and the decision was recommended.

As a result of the decision, the Board of Directors has instructed the provision of this benefit to contractual employees.

Letters have now been dispatched to all regional managers, service managers, and assistant regional managers (depots), instructing them to implement this system.

Gaza death toll rises to over 9,200

The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza says the death toll since October 7 has reached 9,227.

The ministry said 3,826 children and 2,405 women were among those killed in Israeli attacks.

In its statement, Iraq Hashd al-Sha’abi emphasized its full support for the Palestinian fighters, asking world nations and the free people of the world to stand up and defend the Palestinians, their lands, and sanctuaries.
