Rajanna-Sircilla: In a tragic incident, a 55 year-old person died and three others sustained injuries after an electric pole fell on them in Mustabad mandal on Monday night.
Trees and electric poles were damaged as a few parts of the district witnessed rains coupled with heavy winds on Monday night.
Mustabad also experienced heavy winds. An electric pole damaged and fell on a tea stall, wherein the deceased Elusani Yellaiah and few others were having tea.
While Yellaiah died on the spot as the pole fell on his neck, three others including the tea stall owner were injured. Villagers shifted the injured people to hospital.
