ECOWAS lifts sanctions on Niger

Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS have resolved to lift the economic and financial sanctions with immediate effect on Niger Republic. They said the decision to lift the sanctions was based on humanitarian considerations. Press TV Correspondent Danjuma Abdullahi has details from Abuja the Nigerian capital.
