The Iranian delegation is led by Jalil Rahimi, a member of a parliamentary group that represents Iran in APA, and also includes Abolfazl Amouei, the spokesperson for the Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy commission.
The 14th APA Plenary meeting kicked off in Baku on February 20 and will run until Saturday.
Parliamentary delegations from around 40 countries, including 10 speakers, have taken part in the session to discuss plans to strengthen regional cooperation for sustainable development in Asia.
The Republic of Azerbaijan took the rotating presidency of APA for two years.
