Feb. 1: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 27,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Thursday, February 1, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Seized three Israeli spy drones south of the Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
  • Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers hiding inside a building, west of Khan Younis city, with a TBG anti-fortification explosive, resulting in one killing and one injury.
  • Targeted an Israeli military D9-bulldozer, west of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted four Israeli military vehicles with Al-Yassin-105 shells on the outskirts of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
  • Shelled Israeli military concentrations, west of Gaza City, with heavy caliber mortars.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers positioned inside an apartment in the industrial square west of Gaza City with a TPG.
  • Engaged in intense clashes with Israeli forces aboard vehicles in the western and southwestern Khan Younis city. 
  • Targeted two Israeli military vehicles and an APC with tandem shells in the center of Khan Younis city. 
  • Shelled Israeli military concentrations around the Kisufim military site with a barrage of mortars.
  • Shelled Israeli soldiers and their vehicles, east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, with mortars.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Shelled the Israeli military command headquarters and the airstrip in the settlement of Raim with several rockets.
  • Targeted Israeli military vehicles and troops in southern Gaza with short-range rockets.
  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli military forces in the western axes of Gaza City, using appropriate weapons.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces using machine guns and anti-tank shells on the axes west of Gaza City.
  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces, using appropriate weapons, on the axes in the west and center of Gaza City.
  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces, using machine guns and other appropriate weapons, on the axes west and southwest of Khan Younis city.
  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces aboard vehicles, using machine guns and RPGs, on the axes east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Bombed Israeli soldiers and their vehicles in the axis of Al-Zaitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with mortars.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on Feb. 1:

  • Fired RPGs at an Israeli military vehicle near the neighborhood east of Khan Younis city. 

Hezbollah’s operations on Feb. 1:

Eastern sector:

  • At around 9:00 local time, Israeli surveillance equipment at the Radar site in Shebaa was targeted with appropriate weapons.
  • At around 15:55 local time, the Al-Sammaqa site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.
  • At around 16:12 local time, the Ramtha site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.

Western sector:

  • At around 21:30 local time, a deployment of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of Zarit Barracks was targeted with missiles.

Iraqi resistance’s operations on Feb. 1:

  • Attacked the occupied port of Haifa with a suicide drone, causing extensive damage

Yemeni military’s operations on Feb. 1:

  • Targeted a British commercial ship in the Red Sea heading to the Israeli-occupied ports with anti-ship missiles, causing destruction.
