The senior Iranian diplomat made the remarks speaking at his weekly press conference on Monday.
Referring to the visit of Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian to Iraq, Kan’ani stressed that regular and continuous dialogues are underway between Iran and Iraq at different levels.
The relations between the two countries are elite and some events cannot have a negative impact on the depth and strength of the relations between the two countries, he said, considering Ahmadian’s trip a favorable opportunity to exchange views and opinions between the high security and political officials of the two countries on strengthening relations.
