Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 25,700 Palestinians, mostly children and women.
The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, January 24, are as follows:
Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on Jan. 24:
- Targeted an Israeli military tank and two bulldozers with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
- Hit a gathering of Israeli forces penetrating east of Al-Fukhari in Khan Yunis with heavy-caliber mortar shells, causing casualties.
- Targeted an Israeli troop carrier and bulldozer with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells southeast of Khan Yunis.
- Targeted four Merkava tanks with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells west of Khan Yunis.
- Targeted an Israeli battalion of more than 15 soldiers barricaded inside a house west of Khan Yunis with an anti-fortified TBG shell, causing deaths and injuries.
- Blew up a house that had been previously rigged after an Israeli force took shelter there, using explosive devices, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Jan. 24:
- Seized an Israeli reconnaissance drone in the skies of Gaza City.
- Targeted an Israeli supply line and vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells east of Jabalia.
- Launched a rocket barrage toward the occupied territories.
Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on Jan. 24:
- Targeted an Israeli drone with a SAM, in the eastern skies of Gaza.
- Shelled formations of Israeli forces in the axes of Khan Yunis with short-range rockets and mortars.
- Targeted the Israeli military site “Yiftah” of the first battalion of the Northern Brigade in Gaza with a rocket barrage.
- Shelled the Ra’im Israeli military base with a rocket barrage.
Al-Aqsa Brigades’ operations on Jan. 24:
- Destroyed a Merkava tank and an armored personnel carrier (APC) with explosives in the central and western axis of Khan Yunis.
- Shelled a gathering of Israeli vehicles and soldiers near the western cemetery of Khan Yunis with a barrage of 60mm mortars.
Hezbollah’s operations on Jan. 24:
Eastern sector:
- At around 13:25 local time, the Bayad Blida site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
- At around 15:40 local time, the Al-Sammaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms was targeted with missiles.
Western sector:
- At around 21:30 local time, the Birkat Risha site was targeted with missiles.
Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 24:
- Engaged in clashes with several US warships in the Gulf of Aden and Bab el-Mandab that were providing cover to two US commercial ships, directly hitting one of them with ballistic missiles, and consequently forcing the commercial vessels to retreat. The clashes went on for 2 hours.
Iraqi resistance’s operations on Jan. 24:
- Using missiles and drones, three occupation bases in Iraq and Syria, namely Conoco Base, Erbil Airport Base, and Ain Al-Assad Base, were targeted, causing damages and casualties.
