The Australian government is knows very well Iran’s key role in establishing peace and stability in Afghanistan, combating ISIL and extremist groups, and ensuring energy security in one of the important international waterways, he noted.
Australia puts the realities of the region upside down, supports the Zionist regime’s killing of innocent Gazans, and advocates the recent US-UK attacks on Yemen in a flagrant violation of the Arab country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, he underlined.
Iran hails the awakened and justice-seeking people of Australia in calling for an end to the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks on Palestinian infrastructures, women and children, he said.
Kan’ani urged Canberra not to allow geographical distance to impede its political foresight in comprehending the on-the-ground political and security realities of the region.
