Admiral Qader Vazifeh made the remarks on Sunday evening at a ceremony in Bandar Abbas to consolidate the relations between the Iranian and Pakistani naval forces.
The sea is a great opportunity for the advancement and preservation of national interests, he said, pointing out that the activities of the Iranian Navy have expanded to the open seas.
The relations between the navies of Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran are at a very high level, and the implementation of joint exercises has created an opportunity for greater coordination to implement any joint operations, he added.
