“Yemen’s move to support women and children in Gaza and counter the Israeli regime’s genocide is commendable,” said Amir-Abdollahian.

The United States and the United Kingdom launched attacks against Ansarullah’s positions in Yemen late on Thursday, January 11, following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
News sources reported on Friday morning that the Yemeni National Army targeted a target owned by the United States in the Red Sea in response to the US and UK air aggression against the war-torn country.
The Yemeni army has announced that it will target ships sailing from the Red Sea to the occupied territories in a bid to put pressure on Zionist Israeli regime to stop the killing of Gazans.
The Zionist regime has pounded the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, killing at least 23,708 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring more than 60,005 others, according to local health authorities.
