Diplomats residing in Islamabad express sympathy with Iran

Political, and religious figures of Pakistan and foreign diplomats residing in Islamabad attended the Iranian embassy, signed the book of condolences, and expressed their sympathy with the people and government of Iran.

The guests then meet with the Iranian ambassador in Pakistan and discuss the common approach of the countries to fight terrorism.

Muhammad Syrus Sajjad, Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan, went to the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad on Monday to sign the book of condolences. He said that Iran and Pakistan are united to fight terrorism.

The signatories of the book of condolences also condemned terrorism and called for a firm stance and action by the international community against terrorist activities.

Two suicide attacks happened on the path leading to Kerman’s Cemmetry of Martyrs on the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, in Kerman, southeast of Iran, where 91 people were martyred and 277 others were injured.
