At least six people were detained during an anti-government protest in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, local media reported.
Police blocked Corrientes avenue as protesters insulted them. Earlier on Thursday, worker organizations congregated outside the Justice Palace to demonstrate against 300 measures presented last week by President Javier Milei to deregulate the South American country’s economy.
Demonstrators said these measures attempted against their basic social rights and wages.
At the same time, Milei presented more measures to Congress that included reforms in tax, labour, criminal, energy, and electoral matters, said presidency spokesperson Manuel Adorni.
