Witnesses reported loud explosions and drone activity, signaling one of the largest raids witnessed in Jenin, targeting a village outside the city, the Jenin refugee camp, and Jenin city itself.
Concerns escalated as the raid also encircled Jenin Hospital, heightening tensions in the area.
In a similar operation, Israeli forces reportedly surrounded a house in the town of Yamoun, seeking surrender from those inside, while targeting the al-Askar refugee camp in Nablus and making arrests in the al-Jalazoun refugee camp near Ramallah.
Beyond Jenin, the Israeli military targeted Ain al-Sultan and Aqabat Jabr refugee camps in Jericho, deploying troops, a military bulldozer, and establishing positions in these areas. Reports by Wafa news agency noted that Israeli forces were firing live bullets to disperse protests with no immediate casualty reports.
The intensity of these raids spanned multiple locations across the occupied West Bank, with Al Jazeera Arabic reporting that the Israeli forces engaged in residential areas within the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, further intensifying the situation in the region.
Since October 7, the West Bank has witnessed a cycle of violence, raids, arrests, and military operations by the Israeli regime forces. Sporadic clashes impacted various towns and refugee camps in the region including in Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, and Jericho
