Thousands of demonstrators marched in Paris in the rain on Saturday in support of Palestinians in the conflict against Israel and calling for an end to the fighting.
Demonstrators held up umbrellas and Palestinian flags as they marched from Paris’ Place de la Republique. Some unfurled a long sheet of paper that contained a list of what they said were the names of children killed in the fighting.
