Israeli forces kill at least eight Palestinians across West Bank

At least eight Palestinians have been killed in clashes with Israeli military forces across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, amid Isarel’s ongoing onslaught against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing medical sources at Martyr Dr. Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm, reported that three Palestinians were killed on Tuesday.

The three young men, identified as Saeed Suleiman Youssef Abu Tahoun, 24, 27-year-old Jihad Khaled Muqbil Ghanem, and Musab Omar Ahmed Al-Ghoul, 21, died after an Israeli drone strike hit a group of Palestinians, who shot and threw a bomb at a group of Israeli forces.

Earlier, two Palestinians succumbed to serious gunshot wounds sustained during an Israeli military raid on Tulkarm.

Also, Mahmoud Ali Hadayda, 25, and Hazem al-Hosary, 28, lost their lives on Monday evening, when Israeli troops stormed into the city and its refugee camp and fired indiscriminate shots.

Local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told WAFA that an Israeli special unit broke into Tulkarm, sparking confrontations with youths, during which Hadayda and al-Hosary were shot in the chest. They were taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead

At least a dozen young Palestinian men were struck with bullets fired by Israeli snipers deployed on the roofs of houses and buildings, including four who are in critical condition, according to the Ministry of Health, reports say.

Israeli forces initially prevented ambulances from entering the Tulkarm refugee camp. They obstructed their work by stopping them and thoroughly inspecting them before the medical staff could reach the injured and transfer them to the hospital.

Israeli troops took way injured youth Medhat Abu Amsha from an ambulance, as he was being transferred to the hospital.

In a separate incident near the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil, a 20-year-old Palestinian was shot and killed early on Tuesday morning.

WAFA reported that Israeli forces fatally shot Mohammad Abd al-Majid al-Halayqa, a resident of the town of Shuyoukh, as he was near the entrance to the town of Beit Ainun and allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.

The soldiers prevented ambulance crews from approaching Halayqa and treating him. He reportedly bled to death. The Israeli forces then took away the Palestinian youth’s body to an unknown location.

Israeli forces have escalated raids on Palestinian towns and villages and carried out a sweeping campaign of arrests in the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians have held protests in solidarity with Gaza.

At least 180 Palestinians have been killed and another 2,700 injured by Israeli troops in the West Bank since the Gaza war erupted in early October, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry figures.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the coastal enclave, including hospitals, residences, and houses of worship, since Palestinian resistance movements launched their surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the regime on October 7.

At least 11,360 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,609 children and 3,100 women. More than 28,000 individuals have sustained injuries as well.

According to the Ministry of Health, 3,250 citizens are still missing or under the rubble, including 1,700 children.
