Kan’ani made the remarks while speaking at his weekly press conference on Monday.
Referring to the continued Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the senior Iranian diplomat called on the international community to take deterrent measures against Tel Aviv in this regard.
Iran calls on the governments that have prevented the cessation of war (in Gaza) to allow the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its duty to establish international peace and security, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the foreign ministry spokesperson touched upon the measures that Tehran has taken so far in favor of Palestine since October 7, adding that Iran’s diplomatic measures in this regard will continue seriously.
