Nasrallah made the remarks in a televised speech on Palestine developments on Friday evening.
Saying that the Hamas-launched Al-Aqsa Storm Operation has now spread to several fronts, Nasrallah thanked the Resistance groups in Iraq and Yemen that joined the operation against the Israeli regime.
“If we want to talk about a completely legitimate battle, we will not find a more legitimate battle than the war with the Zionists,” he stressed.
Stressing that the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation was a fully Palestinian decision, the Hezbollah chief noted that thousands of Palestinians have been imprisoned in the Israeli regime’s jails for many years, without anyone taking any action for them.
He went on to say that what happened in Gaza (the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation) was inevitable, to turn the Palestinian issue into the first issue of the world once again.
The Al-Aqsa Storm was a completely Palestinian battle and has nothing to do with regional issues, he continued, adding that Iran has no involvement in the decisions of the Resistance groups at the regional level.
The battle of Al-Aqsa Storm created a security, military, and psychological earthquake for the Zionist regime, he further stressed, emphasizing that the operation would have strategic results that would affect the present and future condition of the Zionist regime. What the Zionist regime has committed in Gaza cannot prevent the consequences of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on the future of the Zionist regime, he cited.
Touching upon the United States’ aid to the Israeli regime after the launch of the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, Nasrallah stressed that Washington’s quickness in announcing support for the Zionist regime shows the fact that the Israeli regime is struggling with weakness and failure. Tel Aviv asked the US for financial and arms aid from the first day of the Al-Aqsa Storm battle, he underlined.
He considered the most important mistake of the Zionist regime to be setting high-level goals that cannot be realized, such as destroying Hamas.
What happened in Gaza exposed Israel’s stupidity and incompetence, he said, adding that the Zionists have not had a single military achievement in Gaza. The Zionist regime crossed all the redlines in Gaza and completely destroyed the residential areas in the strip, he cited.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah has staged an all-out war against the Israeli regime since October 8. He warned the Zionists that they would never be able to achieve a specific result by committing massacres and mass killings of the people of Gaza.
He further noted that the US is fully responsible for the events in Gaza and the Israeli regime is only a tool to carry out the Americans’ orders. The US should be punished for committing crimes and massacres against different nations of the world because they prevent the cessation of aggression against Gaza in the current situation, the Hezbollah chief said.
In honor of the martyrs who fell on the road to Al-Quds in defense of Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the holy sites, Hezbollah’s media relations published a statement calling on the party’s supporters to attend the memorial ceremony. The ceremony is being held in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), the city of Nabatieh, Deir Qanun Al-Nahr, and Baalbek.
This event comes after several martyrs fell in the battles taking place with the Zionist enemy on the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.
On October 25, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance chief ordered to call fallen fighters at Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine “Martyrs All the Way to Al-Quds” in a letter written by himself.
The Israeli regime has been waging a barbaric war against Gaza since October 7, when Hamas-led Palestinian Resistance groups launched their biggest operation against the Zionist regime in years. The sneak attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, came in response to the regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli war has so far claimed the lives of over 9,000 innocent Palestinians and left upwards of 32,000 others wounded.
The United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution, calling for the implementation of an immediate “humanitarian truce” in Gaza. The Israeli regime has rejected all calls for a ceasefire, claiming it would benefit Hamas.
