“The fourth edition of the Hangzhou Para-Asian Games was full of honor and pride for Islamic Iran’s sports community, and a group of Iranian athletes competed so powerfully and too decisively that the second place in the medal table of this event went to our beloved country,” President Raeisi said.
“I congratulate each and every one of the heroes and athletes and those who sincerely and professionally put good efforts in preparing the caravan and played a role in this great achievement,” the president continued.
In the 4th Para-Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China, Iran’s representatives made history by becoming vice-champion after winning 44 gold medals, 46 silver medals, and 41 bronze medals and a total of 131 medals, standing above Japan and South Korea.
