Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote a letter on Sunday amid the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza to Paul Richard Gallagher, the Vatican secretary for relations.
“The world needs calmness, peace and morality more than ever. Unfortunately, today we are facing a new face of modern savagery in the occupied Palestinian territories,” the top Iranian diplomat wrote in his letter.
“The horrific crime of the Zionist regime in attacking the Al-Ahli hospital and the bombing of the Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza, where children and women were sheltering, shows another angle of the savage and fierce nature of the Zionist regime.”
“This shows that the Israeli regime practices systematic apartheid not only against Muslims, but against the followers of all Abrahamic religions, including Christians,” he added.
“Undoubtedly, the unanimity of Muslims, Christians and Jews in confronting the crimes of the Zionist regime will play an effective role in curbing the extremism of the Zionists, the restoration of peace to the world, and the establishment of moral values,” he concluded.
