Hundreds of demonstrators who supported the Palestinian cause gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Bangkok on Saturday, October 21, to demand a ceasefire and an end to Israeli occupation in Gaza.
Amid light rain, protesters chanted “Free Free Palestine” and “Down with Israel” as they held up their signs denouncing Israel’s actions in the conflict.
The Israeli embassy in Bangkok has remained closed since Wednesday, October 18, citing security concerns.
According to Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 30 Thai citizens were confirmed to have died, while 16 were injured, and 19 were believed to have been abducted as of Friday, October 20.
