Seyyed Abbas Mousavi met and held talks with his Saudi counterpart Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili in Baku on Wednesday.
The two sides discussed and exchanged views on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Gaza.
While condemning the killing of innocent people, especially children and women in Gaza, the two sides emphasized the need to use all strategies and initiatives by Islamic countries, especially in the form of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime as soon as possible.
On October 7, the Palestinian fighters launched a surprise operation, dubbed Al-Aqsa Storm, outside Gaza after Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in recent days and a record number of Palestinians were killed by Israel in recent months.
The Zionist regime responded by pounding the besieged Gaza Strip after formally declaring war against the Palestinian Hamas group.
