The Telangana government has transferred 12 senior IPS officers and assigned additional responsibilities across various police units. The reshuffle includes postings and additional charges for Commissioners of Police, Deputy Inspectors General and Superintendents of Police across the State

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Monday issued orders notifying the transfers and additional charges of 12 senior IPS officers across the State.
The officers are: Amber Kishor Jha, Commissioner of Police, Ramagundam, has been given full additional charge as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone-I, Kaleshwaram; D Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad City, has been given additional charge as DIG, Zone-V, Yadadri; Sunpreet Singh has been posted as Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, and will also hold additional charge as DIG, Zone-III, Rajanna.
Similarly, N Swetha has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Warangal, and will also hold additional charge as DIG, Zone-IV, Bhadradri; R Bhaskaran, DIG, CI Cell, Intelligence, has been given additional charge as DIG, Zone-II, Basara; and SM Vijay Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad City, has been given additional charge as Joint Commissioner of Police (L&O), North Range.
Ch Sindu Sarma has been posted as Superintendent of Police, CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad. She will also hold additional charge as SP, SIB; Y Sai Sekhar has been posted as Superintendent of Railway Police, Secunderabad; Chennuri Rupesh has been posted as Superintendent of Police, CID; Ch Praveen Kumar has been posted as Superintendent of Police, CID; R Venkateshwarlu has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City; and Rajesh Meena has been posted as SP, Vikarabad.
