Hyderabad: A private petition has been reportedly filed against AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and a few others in a Special Court for elected public representatives’ court accusing that the Congress party failed to initiate action against Congress leader K Shiva Kumar Reddy.
This was after IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally last week returned the private complaint filed by a woman against the Congress leader, citing jurisdiction limitations. The court has also asked the petitioner to file a petition before a proper forum that could address her complaint.
Among the seven respondents in the complaint, four are legislators and Meenakshi Natarajan is a former Member of Parliament. The AICC In-charge’s Rajya Sabha nomination was rejected by the Returning Officer as she failed to mention about the pending case in her affidavit.
Accordingly, the petitioner filed a fresh private petition on Friday demanding justice.
