Hezbollah strikes Israeli border post:
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday its fighters have fired missiles at an Israeli border post in retaliation to the Israeli aggression which killed three Islamic Resistance fighters on Monday.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office affirmed that the Islamic Resistance is firm in retaliating Israeli aggression especially when martyrs fall in such attacks.
“In a decisive retaliation to Zionist aggression on Monday, October 9, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of three courageous fighters, the Mujahideen: Hussam Ibrahim, Ali Ftouni, and Ali Hodroj, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Zionist Jerdah site, facing Lebanese area of Dhaira, with guided missiles,” the statement, carried by Al-Manar read.
“The operation resulted in several confirmed casualties among Israeli occupation soldiers,” the statement added.
“The Islamic Resistance reiterates its determination to provide a firm and unyielding response to Israeli assaults that threaten the security of our homeland and the well-being of our citizens, particularly when such actions result in the tragic loss of our martyrs.”
Askaleon targeted with rockets again on Wednesday:
Hebrew-language media in occupied Palestinian territories released video footage sent by residents of occupied Ashkelon as saying that a rocket hit the port city without warning and was not detected by Iron Dome air defense.
Two Zionists were injured as a result of a rocket attack in Ashkelon, media have reported.
At least two people are wounded in a rocket strike in Ashkelon, Magen David Adom said, according to Times of Israel.
“Both people, including a man in his 40s with shrapnel wounds, are lightly hurt,” the regime’s media added.
