Iran’s Pars-1 satellite boosts country’s remote-sensing capabilities

Iran’s Pars-1 remote-sensing satellite was launched into space by a Soyuz-2 rocket from the Vostochny Spaceport in Russia’s Far East on February 29th. It marked another significant breakthrough in the country’s space program.
