Hyderabad: Man’s organ donation helps four patients

The family of 25-year-old B Vishal, who was declared brain-dead after a road accident near Neredmet, donated his two kidneys, liver and heart. The organs will help four patients, Jeevandan Telangana said, thanking the family for its decision.

Hyderabad: Man’s organ donation helps four patients

Hyderabad: Family members of 25-year-old B Vishal, a resident of Bhapuji Nagar, Yapral, Alwal, Medchal Malkajigiri, who was declared brain-dead, have donated his organs to needy patients under a state-run organ donation initiative.

On August 23, Vishal, who is running his father’s business, met with a road traffic accident near Neredmet while attempting to help another person. Vishal’s motorcycle skidded and collided with a road divider, and in the process he sustained serious injuries.


Immediately, his family members shifted him to a private hospital in Hyderabad for emergency treatment. With his health not improving, the attending team of doctors declared him brain-dead on Monday.

The father of the youngster, Balu Bhai, made the heartfelt decision to donate his brain-dead son’s kidneys (02), liver (01), and Heart (01) and, in the process, help four patients in need, Jeevandan on Monday said.

Jeevandan Telangana has extended its gratitude to the family of Vishal, whose noble decision has saved lives.
