The relations between Iran and Russia are based on strong traditions of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual respect, the embassy said in a message.
It added that expanding the relations between Tehran and Moscow would secure the interests of the two nations completely.
The Russian embassy also wished prosperity and success for the Iranian nation.
