Iran’s freestyle wrestler Amir Hossein Zare won a gold medal at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Serbia’s Belgrade, while two other athletes, Hassan Yazdani and Amir Mohammad Yazdani, were overpowered by their American opponents, and clinched silver medals.
The 2023 World Wrestling Championships are being hosted in Belgrade from September 16 to 24, featuring men’s freestyle action in the initial four days of the event.
