Saying that the town of al-Qa’im and the border regions of Iraq and Syria were targeted, Yahya Rasool stressed that the US attacks were a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq.
The airstrike undermine Baghdad’s efforts to stabilize the situation, he added.
He said the attack could drag Iraq and the entire region into a situation with terrible consequences and pose a real threat to security and stability in Iraq and the entire region, Rasool emphasized.
