“Syria calls on the international community to take urgent measures to stop the crimes and massacres committed by the Zionist entity against innocent civilians and civilian objects,” Beirut-based Al Mayadeen news network reported citing the Syrian Foreign Ministry’s statement.
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that five Iranian military advisors were martyred in the Israeli aggression on Damascus.
The Syrian Defense Ministry added that several civilians were also killed and injured as a result of the attack.
