Hyderabad: Karimnagar Football Association emerged champions in the Asmita Under-16 Women’s Football League Championship at Tagore Stadium in Mancherial on Thursday.
Karimnagar scored a 1-0 win against Telangana State Sports School, with K Sharanya scoring the match-winner in the seventh minute.
G Vivek Venkatswamy, Telangana Minister for Mines and Geology and Labour, gave away the prizes.
The result: Final: Karimnagar FA 1 (K Sharanya) bt Telangana State Sports School 0.
