Hyderabad: The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has announced the appointment of Venu Vinod, Managing Director of Cybercity Builders and Developers Pvt. Ltd., as the Co-Chairman of the IGBC Hyderabad Chapter.
With over two decades of experience and expertise in the real estate sector, Venu Vinod has been instrumental in driving environmentally responsible development practices.
A distinguished entrepreneur and a commerce graduate, with a business career spanning over four decades, beginning 1982, he brings with him extensive cross-sectoral experience across real estate, engineering products, chemicals, and construction equipment.
Hyderabad has played a pivotal role in advancing the green building movement, not only in Telangana but across the country. The city is home to a rapidly expanding portfolio of IGBC-certified green buildings across commercial, residential, Information Technology (IT) parks, and institutional segments.
