Karimnagar FA wins Asmita Under-16 women’s football title

Karimnagar Football Association won the Asmita Under-16 Women’s Football League Championship in Mancherial after defeating Telangana State Sports School 1-0 in the final. K Sharanya scored the winning goal, while Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy distributed the prizes

Hyderabad: Karimnagar Football Association emerged champions in the Asmita Under-16 Women’s Football League Championship at Tagore Stadium in Mancherial on Thursday.

Karimnagar scored a 1-0 win against Telangana State Sports School, with K Sharanya scoring the match-winner in the seventh minute.

G Vivek Venkatswamy, Telangana Minister for Mines and Geology and Labour, gave away the prizes.
