Qassam Brigades voices readiness to release 12 prisoners

The Zionist Israeli regime launched an aggression on Gaza Strip in Palestine on October 7 following the Hamas-led attack on southern the Occupied Lands in a most successful operation in decades known as the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation during which the Palestinian Resistance killed more than 1,400 Zionist regime soldiers and armed settlers and taking more than 200 of them to the besieged enclave as prisoners of war.

The death toll continues to mount in the Gaza Strip, which has been reeling from a month of relentless Israeli attacks and a tightened siege.

According to the Gaza-based health ministry, at least 10,022 Palestinians have been killed in the strikes, 70 percent of whom are women and children.

The following are the latest developments about the Western-backed Israeli aggressions on Gaza and the stiff resistance of the Palestinian Resistance against the invading army on Tuesday:

Hamas ready to free 12 more captives:

“A few days ago, we were about to release 12 foreign detainees, but the Israeli enemy impeded that” Qassam said in a statement on Tuesday.

Gaza death toll rises

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says 10,328 people in the besieged enclave have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7.

The figure includes 4,237 children, according to Al-Jazeera. 

Health Ministry in Gaza further said, according to Al-Manar TV website, that Israeli occupation committed 21 massacres in the last 24 hours, killing 548 Palestinians.

WAFA news agency correspondent Mohammad Abu Hasira was martyred along with his family in an Israeli airstrike west of Gaza City, the Al-Manar TV website reported.

Palestinian sources also said on Tuesday that Yehya Abu Manie was killed in an Israeli bombardment of Gaza City, bringing to 48 the number of journalists killed since the start of the Israeli aggression last month.
