Israeli jets bombard areas near Gaza’s largest hospital:
Israeli warplanes have conducted airstrikes on areas close to the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, as the regime’s genocidal war on the besieged enclave enters its 23rd day.
Citing eyewitnesses, the Associated Press reported on Sunday that the aerial assaults hit areas near Shifa Hospital, which is filled with patients and tens of thousands of people seeking shelter.
New barrage of rockets fired at occupied territories:
Rocket alert sirens sound in a number of towns and cities in central Israel, including Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Ra’anana, Holon and Hod Hasharon, Times of Israel reported.
A number of explosions are heard.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, the regime media claimed.
Channel 12 reports that the barrage sent 1.5-2 million Zionists running for shelter.
Netanyahu Warns of ‘Difficult and Long’ War:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced the launch of the “second stage” of the ongoing war, urging Israeli settlers to prepare for long-term hostilities.
In a public address, Netanyahu praised the impact of recent airstrikes on Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups, but warned that the “battle within the Gaza Strip will be difficult and long.”
On Saturday, the Israeli Occupation’s Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant confirmed that the country had “moved on to a new phase in the war,” and that ground forces would continue to operate in Gaza “until new orders are given.”
Despite several failed attempts, Netanyahu says that his goal of the aggression attacks on Gaza is “to destroy the military and political capabilities of Hamas and to bring our taken settlers and soldiers back.”
The Israeli regime launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas Resistance group waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.
Hamas said that its operation came in response to the Israeli regime’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and growing Zionist settler violence.
Gaza’s health ministry says Israeli strikes have since killed more than 8,000 Palestinians, over 3,000 of them children.
