Al-Mayadeen announced that the American Al-Tanf base in the border triangle of Syria, Iraq, and Jordan was targeted by three drones.
The planes were able to fly over the base and target it, the source said, adding that no report on the amount of damage was not released yet.
Earlier on Wednesday Iraqi sources announced that the Al-Harir Air Base in Erbil Governorate of Kurdistan region, where the American forces are stationed, was targeted by a drone attack.
Also on Wednesday morning, two US officials claimed that the US military thwarted an attack targeting its forces in Iraq.
