Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabi Fard made the remarks while speaking at the sermons of Friday prayers.
Today, the Islamic ummah are united regarding the main issues of the Islamic world, he said, adding that turning the liberation of the occupied territories into the first issue of the Islamic world is an important achievement of the Islamic Revolution.
Touching upon the Thursday terrorist attack on a Syrian military college, the senior cleric stated that the recent events in Syria are created by the mercenaries of global arrogance.
He also blamed the United States for supporting the Zionists to invade Syria.
Offering condolences to the Syrian government and army, Ayatollah Abu Torabi Fard called on international organizations to take action against such crimes.
