In a message, President Raeisi congratulated the noble nation of Iran and especially the country’s sports community for the prestigious and valuable championship of Iran’s national Greco-Roman wrestling team in the Asian competitions in Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday.
President’s message read that, “The mighty and valuable championship of you dear ones in the Asian Greco-Roman wrestling competitions in Kyrgyzstan, which was achieved after the championship of the national freestyle wrestling team of our country, doubled the joy and happiness of the great nation of Iran.”
“I congratulate the honorable nation of Iran and especially the sports community of the country for this brilliant victory, which is another sign of the merit and excellence of you zealous children of the country in conquering the peaks of honor, and sincerely thank you for your efforts, as well as the hard work of the coaches and technical staff of the Greco-Roman wrestling team,” the message further read
“I hope that with the continuation of your efforts and dynamism, we will see more success by you in other sports competitions,” the president of Iran’s message concluded.
Iran national Greco-Roman wrestling team became Asia champion with 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
