Over 300 cancer survivors to lead Global Grace Cancer Run in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: More than 300 cancer survivors are set to lead the 9th Edition of the Quambiant Global Grace Cancer Run to be held on October 11 at Gachibowli Stadium.

The event, which aims to move public dialogue beyond fear and champion early detection of cancer, is being held in a hybrid format, supporting both in-person participation and a virtual option where participants can record and share runs remotely.

Organised by the Grace Cancer Foundation, the Hyderabad edition expects around 35,000 participants across 2K, 5K, and 10K categories. Founder Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli pointed out that the participating cancer survivors serve as living proof that life thrives beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Registrations are open, and participants can choose from three categories, including 2K run (Rs 800), 5K run (Rs 900), and the timed 10K run (RS 1,200), with all proceeds supporting cancer screening initiatives for underserved communities. Interested citizens can sign up online through the official Grace Cancer Foundation website.
