Hyderabad: The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has decided to submit a status report on the state of management education in Telangana to the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). AIMS also volunteered to contribute to innovative programmes designed by TGCHE in the field of aviation management by providing resource persons.
TGCHE Chairman Prof. V Balakista Reddy held a meeting here on Wednesday with AIMS Executive Director Prof. Durga Prasad and Treasurer Prof. P Narayana Reddy on management education in the State. AIMS also volunteered to conduct training programmes for students and management faculty in Telangana.
Meanwhile, Prof. Balakista Reddy released a book titled “The Next Twenty Years – Management Education, Technology and Viksit Bharat 2047”, authored by Prof. P Narayana Reddy, Director General of ICBM-School of Business Excellence, Hyderabad.
The book calls upon academicians, students, institutional leaders and policymakers to rethink the fundamental principles of teaching, learning and leadership within educational institutions.
It also advocates a transformative shift towards holistic education, enduring skills and mindful learning — capabilities that are essential for navigating a rapidly evolving socio-economic landscape.
