Hyderabad: The Government of Sharjah and the World Telugu Information Technology Council (WTITC) have joined hands in a technology and innovation partnership aimed at creating a two-way bridge between Sharjah’s research and innovation ecosystem and the global Telugu technology community.
The MoU was signed at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) by Dr Fareed Mahmoud Abdalla Alameeri, Chief Strategy Officer, SRTIP, and WTITC Chairman Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
The collaboration will focus on applied research, technology transfer, prototyping, pilot projects, university–industry engagement, innovation and knowledge exchange and technology commercialisation.
For global Telugu technology community, it creates new pathways to explore Sharjah as a base for research, innovation and international expansion, while for Sharjah, it opens another channel to connect with a large global network of Telugu technocrats, technology companies, entrepreneurs and innovators.
Sundeep Makthala said, “This partnership creates a genuine two-way platform for technology, research, talent, knowledge and market access.”
