ECI explains what happens if voters fail to submit SIR enumeration forms

Hyderabad: What happens if a voter fails to return the enumeration form during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls?
In the first place, all electors have been requested to fill the enumeration form and return the same to the respective Booth Level Officer (BLO).

However, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI), for electors whose enumeration forms are not returned, the BLO will identify the cause such as absent/death/shifted/duplicate based on inquiry from nearby electors and their names will not be included in the draft electoral roll.
