Telangana Social Welfare Residential Teachers Union and other associations have sought promotions, pending DA arrears and regularisation of eligible employees from TGSWREIS. They also demanded higher remuneration for part-time and outsourcing staff and funds for games and sports material.

Hyderabad: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Teachers Union and Degree and Junior Colleges PDs and PETs Associations demanded the TGSWREIS promote all eligible cadres, including PD Grade-II to Grade-I, as per the rules and seniority. The teachers also demanded release of all pending DA arrears sanctioned through applicable government orders and instalments.
TSWRTU & Degree & Junior College PDs & PETs Associations chairman Dr. Rama Laxman and TSWRTU president Balaswamy, who met TGSWREIS Secretary K Sarada here on Tuesday, wanted complete regularisation and declaration of probation of 2023 regularised teachers and regularisation of 2024 recruited employees. They also wanted issuance of formal regularisation orders to newly regularised PETs who were earlier working on a contract basis.
Enhance remuneration of part-time and outsourcing employees, including part-time PDs and PETs, as per approved provisions and comparable residential educational societies; sanction Rs 30,000 per institution towards games and sports material; issuance of a comprehensive job chart and responsibilities for PDs and PETs at institutional, academy, zonal and society levels were among other demands raised by associations.
TGSWREIS Secretary, as per teachers, responded positively to issues and issued instructions to examine and address them at the earliest.
